Meet The Owner

Maggie is the owner and director of Express Dance Movement, a dance studio founded in 2021 with a passion for creating a place where dancers can grow, thrive, and discover their confidence through movement.

With a deep love for dance and a commitment to developing dancers both technically and personally, Maggie has built Express Dance Movement around the belief that every dancer deserves to feel seen, encouraged, and challenged to reach their full potential.

As a studio owner and director, Maggie oversees the day-to-day operations of EDM, leads a dedicated teaching staff, develops studio programming, and works closely with dancers and families to create a positive and welcoming studio environment. Her leadership is rooted in the idea that dance education is about much more than learning choreography—it’s about discipline, perseverance, confidence, teamwork, creativity, and learning to believe in yourself.

Since opening its doors in 2021, Express Dance Movement has grown into a community where dancers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to work hard, celebrate progress, and express themselves both on and off the stage.

For Maggie, one of the greatest rewards of owning a dance studio is watching a dancer discover something within themselves that they didn’t know was there. Whether it’s mastering a difficult skill, stepping onto the stage with confidence, overcoming a challenge, or simply finding a place where they belong, those moments are what make it all worthwhile.

Outside of the studio, Maggie is a wife and mom to four boys. Her family is at the heart of everything she does, and her experience as a mom has shaped her desire to create a studio that feels like a community—not simply a place where children come to take dance classes.

Her vision for Express Dance Movement is simple: create dancers who are confident, hardworking, kind, passionate, and proud of who they are.
